The Hyundai Tucson (also called the JM) is a compact crossover SUV launched in 2005. It shares its Hyundai Elantrabased platform with the redesigned 2005 Kia Sportage, and it is Hyundais first effort at cracking the small SUV market. While perhaps not as luxurious as some of its contemporaries, the Tucson offers a number of options and affordable pricing to keep it competitive within the market.
