8/27/2020 · 1973 Porsche 914 1.7 (US) Volkswagen versions originally featured the fuelinjected 1.7 L VW Type 4 flatfour engine producing 80 bhp (60 kW; 81 PS). Porsches 914/6 variant featured the 2.0 L aircooled Type 901/3 flatsix engine from the 1967–1969 911T model. This was the least powerful flatsix in Porsches lineup.
